Yixuan Song, PhD
Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Welcome! My name is Yixuan (pronounces like ee-shuan). I am a postdoctoral researcher at Graduate School of Oceanography, University of Rhode Island, working with Dr. Melissa Omand. This website briefly shares my research work and interests with the world. Please feel free to contact me.
Research Interests
My research interests focus on physical oceanography, ocean engineering, and experimental fluid dynamics. More specifically, I have played with lab-made and natural marine snow for a couple of years. My current project aims to quantify the carbon export in the water column through field methods. This website shares research ideas and something fun during my research life.
